Hi Joel, most time I use my canon 550D, and, for some of the photos I’ve taken lately, I use it in connection with a neutral densitiy and a circular polarisation filter. The ND filter is nearly black (ND110) so it cuts of most of the light to make exposure times up to 4 min. possible. That smoothes for example the water or gives to clouds a blurry shape. - Frank
